Now then, these Bog Books look great lad!
With so many people dressed up in 1940's clothing this weekend is was a bit bizarre to bump into a character from the 1960's tv series Heartbeat, the wheeler dealer known as Claude Greengrass! (Well he's actually a lookalike but he does look like him a lot!) We showed Greengrass "Yorkshire Pudding 'n' All That Tripe" and he loved it! A true Yorkshireman we thinks!!
The day went really well, even better than the Friday actaully which was amazing. We opened at 9.00am and there were people waiting to come in, it was fantastic. The word had obviously been well spread that we were in town and people flocked to the shop all day to get their Tim Bulmer signed Bog Books and prints.
The parade was excellent too, so many people in costume making their way down the market place right past The Ginger Pig shop was a real sight. We had a great vantage point from the upstairs window and took loads of photos, some of which we've attached below.
So, after a hectic two days we are looking forward to the final day of the Bog Books shop at The Ginger Pig. So come on down and get your signed books while you can...see you there!
